Self Care Sundays
Self Care Sundays are events that bring women together and allow them to take time for themselves.
Connections with other women also on their journeys of finding mindful practices that bring about relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation is one of the goals. There is a need to build community of like minded women to help strengthen and fortify one another during stressful or difficult times.
Each event will kick off with a short time to meet and greet before an all levels yoga practice, followed by meditation and finishing with time for journal writing. Ideas of practical Self Care strategies or techniques will be shared as well as resources given.
Slowdown Sundays is Slow Flow Yoga set to the music of R&B/Neo Soul artists to help you wind down your mind, body and spirit to prepare for the work week.
These classes will focus on slowly building a sequence of poses to aid in strength and flexibility. The asanas are not strenuous but will have an element of challenge. The classes will incorporate some yin postures and close with an extended period of rest.
Hustle & FLO Fridays
He's the DJ, I'm the Yogi! Power Yoga set to classic hip hop and current trap music. Come sweat away the week and get ready for the weekend!
Kids Yoga Day
Kids Yoga is for children ages 6-11. They will enjoy learning Sun Salutations A & B, play games, do partner poses, meditate and more once a month on a Sunday afternoon!

Power Yoga Basics
"What kind of yoga do you need today?"
Your needs take precedent at Daybreak Yoga. All Levels are tailored to the physical and emotional desires of the students. However, when there are no specific needs, the classes will be appropriately challenging, engaging, and strengthening. Students are given options, modifications and encouragement, so you'll never need to feel uncomfortable or worried. All levels yoga is for everyone.
Beginners Yoga is perfect for the novice and the advanced yogi. The class builds on the understanding of the Sun Salutations. It is recommended to take the Beginners Workshop Series first.
Power Yoga Basics class that keeps it simple but it does not mean easy! The focus of these classes is on building a framework for your yoga practice that includes constant, focused breathing and strong, safe poses with proper alignment. Whether you’re truly a beginner or a seasoned yogi wanting to focus on the power poses, this class is for you!
Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, as well as joints and ligaments.
Restorative yoga sequences typically involve only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest.
The Beginners Workshop is for all yogis. Come learn the fundamental poses in Sun Salutations A & B. Workshop A will cover yoga etiquette, breathing, sitting comfortably, basic poses for Sun Salutation A, and there will be time to share, ask questions and learn how to use props. Workshop B will cover twists, basic balancing poses, Sun Salutation B, transitioning between poses or flow, and again with time for sharing, questions, and the use of props.
